Telemedicine Consultation
Tham Clinic offers GP-led telemedicine consultations for selected medical needs where remote review is clinically appropriate. This may include suitable follow-up reviews, medication discussions, test result review, and non-emergency health concerns.
If your condition requires physical examination, urgent treatment, or in-clinic testing, our doctor will advise you to attend the clinic or seek appropriate urgent care.
Suitable Telemedicine Uses
- Follow-up review for stable conditions previously assessed by a doctor
- Medication review and discussion of prescription renewal where appropriate
- Review of test results and next-step care advice
- Non-emergency symptoms suitable for remote review
- Advice on whether an in-person clinic visit is needed
Telemedicine FAQ
No. Some conditions require physical examination, vital signs measurement, testing, procedures, or urgent care. The doctor will advise an in-person visit when remote consultation is not appropriate.
If medically appropriate after the telemedicine consultation, the doctor may issue a medical certificate (MC). MCs are issued only after clinical assessment and are not guaranteed. If your condition requires physical examination or further in-clinic review, the doctor may advise an in-person visit instead.
Medication renewal depends on your condition, medication type, recent review history, and clinical safety. Some prescriptions may require an in-person assessment before renewal.
Seek urgent care for severe chest pain, breathing difficulty, stroke-like symptoms, severe injury, heavy bleeding, fainting, or any rapidly worsening condition.
